🩺Interprofessional Student-Led Clinics

What’s Innovative: A unique model where students from various disciplines—medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, and public health—collaboratively deliver real healthcare services in structured, university-based primary care clinics. These clinics are supervised by licensed practitioners and embedded in local communities.

• Real clinical consultations with underserved populations (free of charge)

• Supervised student intake and patient care delivery

• Community screening campaigns (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular)

• Applied learning via data collection and clinical audits

• Peer learning and cross-discipline case discussions

🎓 Modular Training & Professional Development

What’s Innovative: A three-tiered training framework built on modular courses: a 60 ECTS professional diploma, 20–30 ECTS in-service training modules, and capacity-building tracks for academic and clinical staff.

Key Activities:

• Courses on cutting-edge topics like AI in PHC, Big Data, Telemedicine, Ethics, and Patient Safety

• Designed with inputs from academic faculty and enterprise professionals

• Delivered via hybrid models (online + in-person)

• Inclusive recruitment: majority of participants were women, and many came from disadvantaged communities

• Assessment methods include mini-projects, case-based exams, and real-world clinical simulations.

🌍University–Enterprise Collaboration

What’s Innovative: Establishing a structured triangle of cooperation among universities, non-academic enterprises, and the healthcare sector to co-design education and service initiatives.
