This Platform is an outcome of the EU/Erasmus+ Project conducting by Medical Schools from different Countries such as Sweden- Italy. Austria-Greec- Egypt & Lebanon. The training and services are provided by Medical Doctors (physicians) - experts in Primary Care & Family Medicine
This platform was created in the early phase of the I-CARE project as a strategic digital space to coordinate, implement, and showcase project activities in real time. It was designed to:
-
Support interprofessional clinics and innovation centers hosted by universities and healthcare enterprises.
-
Facilitate training delivery for diploma, in-service, and capacity-building programs.
-
Host collaborative curricula development involving both academic and enterprise partners.
-
Provide a knowledge-sharing environment for trainers, students, clinicians, and policymakers.
-
Enable coaching, mentorship, and community outreach for underserved populations.
-
Maintain access to deliverables for stakeholders and EU reviewers through structured documentation and updates.
Today, the I-CARE Hub continues to serve as a lasting outcome and legacy platform, sustaining the impact of our work beyond the formal project lifecycle.
At the I-CARE Hub, we bring together universities, healthcare professionals, enterprises, and communities in a dynamic collaboration to reshape primary health care (PHC) in the MENA region. This platform is the digital home of the I-CARE Erasmus+ project, serving as a shared ecosystem for clinical education, training, coaching, and innovation.
Our mission is to enhance healthcare equity and quality through interprofessional student-led clinics, advanced digital health training, problem-solving curricula, and sustainable university–enterprise partnerships. From rural outreach to AI-based modules, the I-CARE Hub supports learners, educators, and professionals in delivering smarter, safer, and more responsive PHC services.
